1989 Kona Cinder Cone

Arfur

Dirt Disciple
I asked in 'how much is this worth' that exact question and a figure of £350 was mention if it had the original stuff on it, which is does not as it was not with the bike when I got it.

So Any one want to pay £250 for this beauty. We can discuss postage costs if I can get hold of a box from Evans.

I understand the stem is quite rare too as it was made by Brodie and not Kona......

Every thing is Deore execpt the head set which I think is STX. Wheels are Mavic of some sort, maybe 527 seems to ring a bell. Pretty sure it is an 18" too. Few chips on the paint and some chain suck to on the chain stay but pretty damn good for a 20 year old bike.

I can also throw in some spare shed paint and those 2 plant pots should you wish to purchase........

question

Just noticed this but unfortunately I'm not buying, just after help.
Think that I've come by a cindercone frame of this age and was wondering about using deore front and rear mech - but when I look they all seem to be for 28 speed, and I've heard that older frames are set up for 21 speed (spread of dropouts for rear wheel). how did you sort this out or is it not a problem?
