I especially like the front forks that have been converted into seat stays..in fact I may keep an eye on this :wink:
 
I've seen this one for sale a few times over the past few years. I emailed seller to find out what happened to the matching stem and fork.

edit: I can't recall why it didn't sell a few times before, but I think it must have been a starting price, reserve price, or BIN that was too high for buyers' comfort. It's obviously going to sell this time around.

edit again: After a bit of research, I see that I was mistaken. It actually did sell eventually to buyer who made best offer:

I guess 2nd owner is splitting stem and fork to make a profit.

Splitting stem and forks is sacrilage... Going to be really hard (or expensive) matching them back up in the future.

All of which is irrelevant to me, but it does seem a shame.
