Don't really want to sell but need shed space and as this was the last mountain bike in it has to be, in some sort of logic, the first one out. Shame as I reckon it's the coolest looking of the splatter Kona's.
Anyway, it's a 20" 1989 Fire Mountain with the seatstay mounted U brake. I've had it for 6 months during which time I've swopped out the sloopy 400LX rear mech for a black LX in very good condition, changed the chain, recabled throughout, added SPDs and the Rolls saddle and changed the plastic front canti for an alloy XT. I have also serviced the headset and bottom bracket.
The frame is clearly 20 years old and a previous owner at some point has used some dribbled white paint to cover up a few scrapes/blemishes - pretty good as blends in fairly well with the finish. There is no rust or dents.
Price? £150 is fair I think.
