Kona Fire Mountain 1996

Hi all,

Apologies if I have posted in the wrong place but just seeking some advice.

Just clearing the garage, need to make space, and I have a Kona Fire Mountain from 1996, still in good condition but not used in years, that I want to get rid. When bought I upgraded the front forks to suspension forks (Manitou) and recall changing the brakes but all super dated now. Not sure whether it is actually worth anything or whether I should just leave out for the local "rag and bone" man to take.

Any views?

Just scared a guy on a Kona!!!!!!

I was driving through the lanes of Hanningfield in Essex, when I spotted a nice green '96 Fire Mountain being ridden!! So I pulled over up ahead and stopped him..........he looked a bit worried at first. The bike was spotless, he had had it from new, so I mentioned RB. He had never heard of...

don't put It in the tip, even though how hideous the Manitou forks are, im sure someone can save it (I could, but ive just got another kona!)

About bottom of the range but if all good I would start around the £100 mark and go from there.
