Now, I have to ask a question. And it will make me sound like an idiot. But here we go, I am an idiot sometimes.

What's the triangular black velcro thing for? It should be on the other side of the frame, where the seat tube meets the top tube. It's even on the catalogue picture of this bike. But I've not really worked out what it does yet. :?

It's a portage strap, for when you need to throw the bike over your shoulder and climb up a section of trail too technical to ride. (or some steps or something!)
