Noice! How’s the paint job coming on?

I should have it back in the next week or so - excited. Just need to sort a couple of bits of drivetrain and decide on cable outer colours and I’ll be ready for the first build. I intend to put some miles (and hopefully some scratches) on it this summer.

Good stuff. Hoping to finish mine soon-ish too. Be kind of cool to sort out an Overburys ride one of these days.

Colour test approved today.
Turned out the paint Argos had been using for neon pink purposes has been discontinued. They ordered in some paint that has been in production since the eighties, so this is perhaps more period correct. It’s actually more like I had in mind and I’m really pleased how this ‘88 Kona stem has come out - it has looked tired the entire 15 years I’ve owned it. Not to everyone’s taste but I’m not one to do things by halves.

Love the craftsmanship of the frame. You must be so excited to get it built and ride it !
