Hi all,

Got too many bikes and this project unfortunately has to go. Its a partly completed 1988 Joe Murray designed Marin Pine Mountain 18" lugged Tange Prestige frame with lugged uni-crown Tange MTB fork.

Includes:-

Original Hatta Vesta 1" headset..Serviced new bearings/grease

MT60 Deore U brake with original pads (Pads show little wear)

Original Kalloy QR

Marin 1" roller quill stem

ITM Handlebar – similar shape/length to original

MT60 four finger Brake Levers with little brass washers

MT60 6 speed Deore Shifters

MT60 Front Mech

MT60 Rear Mech

Araya RM-20 'GOLD LABEL' Xt 6 speed hubs 130mm :-

Rims are Excellent condition I also have some araya stickers for them too, Hubs are excellent too I had a look inside and re-greased them (no new bearings required)

6 speed Unused uni-glide Cassette

Kalloy Seat-post 26.6mm

Ritchey saddle

Condition Is Very good considering it is 25 years old there’s a few rust spots.

Seat tube is 18" C-C
Top Tube is 22" C-C
BB Shell is 68mm
Seat-post size is 26.4mm but the kalloy is 26.6mm and fits fine
Rear hub spacing is 130mm
Stem 110mm with 25 ish degrees of rise.

Price is Paypal gift £230 + Postage.

Postage = £21.50(@ cost) but highlands and islands etc will be more @ cost on top, Collection welcome. I can post to Europe/North America please ask for price.

You've done a very nice job on that so far mate...a real shame you can't finish it.

Really lovely (and lively) bikes these and one of the rarest/earliest Marins on these shores.

Don't want to be a vulture, but I really want those wheels, :oops: are they replacement stickers for them you have there as well? If so the stickers +plus wheels please if you decide to split. :twisted:

Not planning on splitting spike3 but i'll put you at the top of the list for wheels + stickers.
 
Where did you get the Araya stickers from mate. I am after some for the RM20s on my other 88 Pine Mountain. All I can find is the smaller ones for BMX wheels.

Maybe these are the smaller ones heres a pic.

Would i have more luck if I finished off the build and then tried to sell it?

Or would splitting it be more successful?
