Heres a 1988 cannondale that I dived head first into fettling up and have stalled as I am struggling to find time or space to complete it. So I figured somebody here might enjoy getting their hands dirty bringing the job to fruition!
Its all there pretty much to get it on the road although the rear wheel is one of those £20 jobbies but hey ho, it's a project bike.
Deore non low profile cantis,XT rear hub, 9 foot long dia compe brake levers, suntour 6 speed thumbshifters, an old brooks b17(I think), deore rear mech, new wtb race raptor folding tyres, mavic front hub on the original rim, deore rear mech, middleburn inner and middle rings, left hand crank has goosed threads where the extractor screws in but is fine to ride, modern cheap front mech.
The bars, stem, and forks are all original and it somehow still has its 80's red foam grips.
The forks would benefit from a trip to the powder coaters. You will need to factor in an evening or two in the shed with emery paper, brasso and a gallon of gin.
I will get some pics of the rest of the kit asap but heres a taster....
