retrobikeguy, Thanks. Rings are 38/34/24...original owner was a fan of half step plus granny. Gearing works well for my riding area.

captaincosmic, I feel very lucky to have it. Columbine was originally based in Colorado, and was a two brother operation. Today one of the brothers is still handcrafting beautiful bicycles in California (still under the Columbine banner). I believe the tube set is Tange Prestige, but I'll know for sure when the builder digs up the original build sheet.
