Hi for sale my Campagnolo Athena 7sp SYNCRO 2 groupset with Matching hubs laced to Mavic MACH 2 CD 2 dark grey tubular rims. This groupset is in excellent condition for its age please see photos and judge for yourself. Full honest description of each part as follows;
Chain set 53/42 chain rings both have seen very little use! Crank arm length 170mm 9/16" x20 excellent condition
Rear mech strong spring no play in main body, jockey wheels original Campagnolo main body very good some marks on jockey wheel housing may polish out! Very good condition overall
Head set 1" x24 tpi-British thread complete some marks on top cap and lock nut were spanner as slipped! May polish overall in great condition.
Bottom bracket 36-x24F whit smooth bearings no issues clean and fully functional.
Front changer braze on, strong spring, no play very clean great condition!
Chain 7 speed SEDIS France no issue clean and fully functional!
Brake set complete original!!! I.e. Campagnolo blocks, Campagnolo wheel guides super shiny chrome, strong springs very smooth and look the business super condition!
Down tube shifters 7 speed SYNCRO 2 very clean and complete no issues excellent condition!
Seat post fluted 27mm some pitting on main body below insertion line and some light pitting on flute see pictures overall in good condition!
Brake levers levers have some very minor marks the black huds are in excellent condition no rips or worn!!!
Wheels set Campagnolo Athena 32 hole hubs smooth with matching Original quick release skewers. Laced to Mavic MACH 2 CD 2 dark grey Tubular rims in in excellent condition very little use! Wolber Pro tubs will need changing at some point!

So to confirm the groupset and wheels are in excellent condition for its age discribed honestly and respectfully. The group set was taken from a Eddy Merckx team telecom that had not been used for a number of years. The groupset will be sent with tracking details on receiving payment by collection from my address or via PayPal if using PayPal add 4% to cover the PayPal charges thanks!
