1988 Bob Jackson Full Campag, finished pics p8

Thanks chaps.

Interesting comment re stem and bars. I think some of the early pics show the stem and bars it came with originally.

Sakea mts something and steel nitto. Combined weight about half a tonne :D

The current set up came of my Klein pinnacle and I think is Ti. The Klein got an mc1 8)

The huge Euclid leavers are so big, that unless you get lucky, they only really work on flattish/gentle sweep bars

That said, my backs sore so Will keep an eye out for a tidy stem with a bit more rise

Didn't notice the stem/bars in the first pic - that is much more like I was expecting to see of bar/stem. I've had a couple of bikes with geometry like this (1987 Raleigh Avanti and a 85 Saracen Conquest) and they suit a bar/stem with more rise both aesthetically and to ride. Maybe a chrome bullmoose bar would be cool of this?

See how you get on - its a super bike either way 8)

The Shimano freewheel is just wrong. They dont last that long either.

I have a nice spare silver Suntour I can post at cost.

Thanks very kind offer, would be keen except I haven't removed on before and am not sure how to do it

Very classy, the campag parts look interesting.
Good to see some British Steel getting a make-over.

standard shimano cassette removing tool fits the same splines on your shimano freewheeland you will need access to a large bench vice.

Re:

Unsure if your Euclid is 6 or 7spd, as there was the option, but if 7spd and dependant on what ratio you wanted to run, this might be a nice option for under £17.00+post.

Im guessing its 6 speed, but they are out there for not a great deal of money.
