1988/89 Mountain Goat

I've had this Mountain Goat for a while and other projects have got in the way of a build. I've not found too many form this year for comparison and not many with the rear U:Brake. Its been used but no dints or cracks, some paint chips and a bit of paint removal due to chain suck. its a light frame thats for sure.

Any advice on value or other information on this one?









top tube is 21.5 inches and BB to top tube is 17" so its got a nice geometry setup.

am hinking of putting up for sale and was think of £250 for the frame do you think thats fair price under or over estimate?

I think that's fair but you have to consider finding the fork and stem combo and then paint to get a real idea of value. Myself I'd pay £200 tops as there's a lot of classy bike missing there..

thanks yes its unfortunate I dont have the forks and stem. I have a tange switchblade for it and a salsa stem. The real interest is the fact its got a u brake as you dont see many of these about whilst Ive been looking it up. i think this one is from 1988
