This is my 1987 Colnago ESA Mexico 'Profil' - just finished in time for Noosa Strade Bianche last weekend. 140km mixed bitumen and gravel and she performed brilliantly.

Perfect! The bars just need to rotate a few degrees clockwise so that their ends are parallel to the ground.
 
Superb bike.

Contentious point regarding bar position. My (slight) OCD likes the bar end parallel to the ground, but I think angles slightly downward is actually the correct position.
 
I'm a 'top section runs parallel to the stem' kind of guy with regards to bar rotation. This bike is, after all, very much configured as a "rider", not a static display. It's covered about 500km of mixed gravel and bitumen in the last month. Bar ends parallel to the ground/top tube looks nice, but it's awful hard on wrists over rough ground. I will shorten the cables though...
