1987/8(?) Yellow Diamondback Ascent

Retro Newbie
How it ended vs. how it started

I ended up having to cut off the original cranks with a sawzall as pulling the originals ended up stripping the threads. The original saddle was an abomination too. Apart from that and the tires/pedals, I kept it original. The SIS shifters are as crisp as you can imagine, and the Dia Compe cantis work great and were super easy to adjust. Replaced the tires with Specialized Kickers which are nice and light and comfy. It's a big bike but weirdly fits me at 5'10" because the bars decrease the reach. The yellow bars are of course the main selling point!

Re colour scheme, I went with 'oranges and lemons' although my son pointed out it's more 'lemon and peach'.
