Picked this up today: went to get it by foot and rode it back home (after inflating the tyres) :D:

A Tech Nova Pro (not sure of the year yet..)

Tange Infinity tubing, Tange MTB forks and a mix of early (LB, LC: 1987?) 6sp Shimano components.

Let's see if I can get it into a slightly better (cleaner) condition during the ongoing lockdown to be able to ride it offroad when times change for the better, although I think it might be a tad too small for me..

Apparently, some other have passed on this forum (of course) a while ago: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=135150

:)

Disassembled, cleaning in progress..

Looks like a Shimano Uniglide. You need two chainwhips, use one to hold the cassette and one to unscrew the smallest sprocket.

Let's find a second chain whip then..!

Thanks :)

its a great time to fit a 7spd or even an 8spd Hyperglide freehub body!
One step at a time: this is unexplored territory for me, as I've not dealt with 6sp Uniglide before..
