it's not going to be easy to find all the bits to make the frame, let alone the complete bike! i want the frame made from 753 with an all cinelli construction, so will need to find all of these parts before i even approach a frame builder! for the job, dave yates without a doubt.

i will make it corsa record throughout and as near as possible to the original la vie claire bike.
the only things that i'll have to compromise on are the rear hub, gear levers and rear mech which will be c record 8 speed - the original non indexed system was appalling and i have no idea how lemond managed to win the tour with such slippery gears!!

i remember dave yates and jo weigh 'deeside cycles' i think it was.
shimano indexed for me then saved up for campag veloce ergo's now back onto rx100 d/tube shifting for this winter. then 1st generation ergo's for my lemond build.
love the paint on this and also the silver/red triangles on the look carbon, not sure if they are real paint or decals? good luck with it rusty and look forward to seeing the build .now contemplaiting look style [oblongs] for my bathroom :lol: and thankyou reader 'gaucho'
