I thought about getting it myself but after talking to him I just couldn't.
He bought it new and had great stories about riding it BITD and even going to the Moots factory 2 years after he bought it and they still had his name on the build chalk board. Kinda cool. He told me that when he ordered it 2 of his friends ordered at the same time so there are 2 other Moots Mountaineers in the Portland area of the same year.

I'll be surprised if it sells at the new price. Old bike market isn't what it used to be and Moots don't often get the big bucks, not that they aren't really nice bikes.
