Very cool, with a cool story. The price might be worth it to someone, but is probably high by about $800...or not

So that after you have lowered the seat to give you more clearance when covering rough ground and needing to manoeuvre over and around the bike more, you simply release the quick release and the seat returns to the pre-set height, overkill if you ask me!

Price high by $1500 if you ask me.

There were a couple nice old gary fishers that sold for around $800 recently, and by nice, I mean like this one, here.
My opinion: he can get $1000 for it if he waits. If the high rise twin strut handle bar is fillet brazed, it alone can fetch $400. The fillet brazed frame alone $500 to $700.
