1983 Ritchey Everest

[Solo]

This was a longterm project... and still is ;-), the build was finished March 2020 but now is the time to post it here.
It is a restoration with several parts which took a lot of work to get them in perfect condition but now i'am satisfied with the result.
It !s ridden every once in a while on a sunny dry day but i prefer to keep it in this condition.
All parts, including the tires, are period and catalogue correct.

(As an aside, would superbikes like this benefit from 2 sets of ‘clothes’: 1. Show/best NOS/catalogue. 2. Era sympathetic but rideable? Eg wheels/tyres, freewheel, chainset, pedals, saddle - even brakes - could be swapped out easily for riding, with the good stuff kept pristine. Sure, the paint might take a hit, but if it’s been repainted, it can be again, and if original, it’s probably already wearing a few scars with pride and wouldn’t mind a couple more.)
