Hey everybody, new round here, go easy and all that
I thought I would introduce you to my retro tourer. Miyata themselves are a rare enough make on this side of the pond, they were only officially imported into Sweden in Europe, but they were a far stronger make in the USA.
Anyways, Its awaiting a 700c conversion, but its mostly complete at this stage. Frame is a double butted lugged Cr-Mo steel frame made in house by Miyata themselves.
Components are somewhat original, where I've replaced parts, I've tried to keep them period correct. Front and Rear mechs are Suntour; Cyclone up front and VGT Luxe on the rear. SR Custom Cranks and Sun hubs on Araya alloy wheels. Dia Compe Sidepull calipers.
Any other miyata owners here? Hopefully I'm not alone. I only know of one other here in Ireland.
