1974 ALAN

Recently finished ALAN.

Frame and forks circa 1974 according to info from ALAN themselves it was one of their earliest frames made. Finished with Athena, Mavic SSC chainset, Cinelli, & Sprint rims.

I decided to make it single speed as I think the frame suits the minimal look, had first ride on it at the weekend and its really smooth and a lovely ride.

Yes indeed after months and months getting all the bits its up for sale, would love just to keep it and look at it but circumstance forces sale - big shame.

I like it too. Even the little discrete brake lever seems to fit the bike. What is it? Tektro cyclocross?

The lever is an Acor Auxiliary lever - it was tricky getting something to suit the bike.
