I have a 1961 Viking Severn Valley frameset for sale – it's a lovely frameset, and seriously light, but it's just too small for me. It's a 22" frame, with the seat tube measured c-t-c – 55.5cm in modern terms. Top tube c-t-c is 57cm. 120mm rear spacing.
Obviously it is pretty rough as it stands, so needs a full restoration. It has some dents from dropped chains in the usual spot – I have sanded this area back to check under the paint and it looks solid enough. Also, the remains of one drop out adjuster is left in the hole on the right side, so would need drilling out or leaving without putting a new one in there.
The BB is only left in because I don't have the removal tool for it. The lock ring moves fine, and the stem and saddle came out easily, so I don't think the BB would be too challenging to remove.
It has been drilled/modified for recessed nut brakes, so is not 100% original – though it could still be used with old centre-pull brakes. More photos available if wanted.
