Here is my 1951 Phillips Jaguar. It is in the process of restoration by myself and is about 95% complete....

Re:

Thanks for your positive comments Gents. This restoration has been a labour of love, I have put over 70 man hours into the Phillips. Decided to not to do a re-enamel as the 65 year old flamboyant magenta paint has patina. Have cleaned, polished and serviced all the components, rebuilt the original wheels with DB Stainless Spokes, retaining the Phillips hubs and 27" Dunlop Special Lightweight Rims. Sourced some 27"x1" Panaracer Amberwall Tyres. The original Phillips 2" Steel Girder Bar Stem has been Changed for a period GB 2" alloy Girder Bar Stem. The Maes Bend Handlebars had the original shockstop grips under the red tape but they were too far gone for saving, will be using some tan cork grips instead....
Regards,
Nick

I do like this bike very much. It has great character, with lots of interesting components and a great colour scheme. A very nice, sympathetic restoration.
