Although the seller has given the c-t measure as 19", am I right in thinking that it's what Marin would call a size 17.5, because they measured size on a c-c basis? I have a feeling Specialized did the same at that time.

I think you're right. Bikepedia lists a 17.5", 19", and 20.5".

Mine's 19" centre to centre, and isn't the biggest they made.

I had to spend the weekend in St. Albans visiting some of the girlfriends friends (my girfriend was with me, before you ask ).
We didn't get back until 18:30 and I lost it by £2!
Every cloud has a silver lining though, as I am working on buying one of these ....
