i know it's not retro but as i'm not having much luck selling it on ebay at the moment i thought i'd try here.asking price is £350 but i would take an older kona bike or project as a part ex

It's a very clean bike and very straight with slight signs of wear, stone chips and a couple of scratches but NO rust. The brakes are slightly spongy so would probably benefit from bleeding

so here's the gumph

18'' 2004 Kona Explosif in dark blue

True Temper Ox Platinum Frame - very light

Marzocchi MZ Comp forks - extremely clean

Juicy 3 disc brakes

Mixture of Shimano XT and Deore shifters and mechanisms

Cane Creek aheadset

Onza bar ends

Specialized grips - brand new

Mavic X117 Rims on Deore hubs

SDG Comp saddle

Bontrager Jones tyres

Kona stem and riser bars

would really prefer a a face to face deal as the courier i have contacted is being a total arse about delivering a second hand bike

thanks,mick

erm,pictures might help :? :D

senditnow.com will do it for £10.50 and have been hassle free so far (about ten experiences). Hope that helps! :)

thanks elpedro type bump :)

presume i'd still need to get a bike box from the local shop?

Probably easiest yes, they're generally only too happy to be rid of them! Only thing to watch is that you space the dropouts with something solid so that they can't get squished together

It's a beaut, by the way (but then you knew that) 8)
