I had one of these:

1999 F3000sl

F3000s.gif

most disappointing bike I'd ever owned - brakes didnt work, headshock didnt work, Cannondale's UK rep didnt work (I ran over his feet in the shop to demonstrate the fact that the brakes didnt work).

just before i found this site i found myself quite liking those
(or some thing very much like that)

i had a 2006 F600 before joining here, didnt get on with it, and sold it a year later, and have only owned pre y2k bikes since.

I had a 1999 f900 in the same colour scheme. Rather liked it and wish I hadn't sold it. Mine had Magura Julies which worked very well.

Always wanted a Cannondale. But, along with many it is a brand on my list of 'want to try, havent yet brought'.

Maybe I'll steer clear...........

I picked up my F1000 thirteen years ago this week .... and its still
with me :D havent had any problems with it in all that time !!
great bike :D

Only Cannondale I ever owned was the horribly named "Badboy"

Bought it for 80 quid from the local paper, nothing special and sold it for decent profit

Headshok always seemed a good idea if somewhat unreliable, might be ok with the Magura air conversion, but not bothered about owning another one

Awesome piece off kit.

sold many off them in that year and yes the coda brakes were shite but most people upgraded them and we had no more problems.

considering we sold hundreds off dales with headstock and lefty's we only ever had a dozen back with basic problems.

ive still got a full decal kit for f800sx !

simply some off the best bikes ever made. i sold one customer 22 off them which he still has all still going strong inc some working coda brakes!

:D
