sold many off them in that year and yes the coda brakes were shite but most people upgraded them and we had no more problems.

Kind of missing the point though, brakes are supposed to work from new and even 40mph down Devil's Dyke near Brighton didnt bed them in. If they'd have worked 'out of the box' I'd have been happy. But then my Headshock always felt notchy.

always liked that era of cannondale. The purpleen one that year was beautiful.

my headshock is lovely and smooth (2002 model).

always thought the yellow shock boot looked a bit naff though.

reminded me of one of these that i had in 1982.
