1" Deore XT Headset Head Race

As per the title really. The Cinder Cone frame I just got came with a Deore XT headset in place - bonus, I thought. On stripping it down however, there's a massive chip out of the headrace - if anyone's got a part to fit, please get in touch...

EDIT: it's actually a Deore XT headset - the offending bit can be seen by the tip of my little finger.

Please take a pic of the part you're searching because I have one 1" LX headset w/o the bearings and can send the part to you for free if you have interest, you have just to pay the S&H charges...

That sounds very, very good...

It's the part that presses into the frame at the top of the headtube. I'll post a pic when I get home from work later.

Thanks for the offer, fingers crossed it's the right bit! Alternatively, might you be interested in parting with the whole LX headset and if so, how much?

Hi fella.. I think it is exactly the same part that I just have here!! There's a little bit of rust on part of the race but otherwise they're in perfect condition with no dings or cracks... I've been thinking of asking ₤5 plus shipping to you for the whole headset... In the next monday I'll post some pics here ok...
