glad he walked away

I was at the event and running my 1200 hp Ford GT (I ran 224.5 mph). I was hanging out with Richard the couple of days before the wreck and the morning of. He wanted to run his Viper a few hours after the wreck. Tough guy and good people. Great event too.

Hennessy Twin Turbo??

Nice!

Doubt the Lambo was doing anything like 235mph when it went over; end of the run, on the brakes and the chute. Still fast but no where near 235.

true. perhaps its top speed. It must be pain to have to use a shute every time you come to traffic lights

My car is Twin Turboed and Supercharged. 1026 hp at the tires....about 1200 at the engine on C16 race fuel.

The Gallardo was doing around 200 ish when the chute came out and probably 150 ish when it went off the track IMO. I was up at the staging area when it happened.
