After a pair of suspension forks for this:

Small frame and light rider so short steerer is ideal, and I'm prioritising light weight over beefiness so something like some Indy SLs would do the trick, I think.

Preferably v-brake era.

Alternatively I would probably be up for some very light (carbon?) rigid forks.

Anyone got anything? Cheaper the better, but let's say up to £100 for something nice.

At the top end of your budget (probably the very top...) I might be able to offer a Manitou Mars in black - they're currently on a bike but I haven't used it for a while. I've been thinking of changing plans and switching it to disc brakes and I've got a different disc-only fork I could probably use to replace it. They're probably perfect for this, though you might need to trim the steerer. I've had most of the old lightweight forks and they're definitely ahead of the Indy SLs.
