Wanted 1 1/8 headset

Hi all, slowly getting around to fixing a 93 Pine Mountain. Catalogue says Ritchy OS 1 1/8 headset. The one on it is very notchy! Any suggestions for replacing or repairing?

Strip it and clean it but the surface is probably brinelled, SJS have a selection of suitable replacements, or there is a Ritchey on Ebay from Italy will be about 30gbp...

I cannot recommend Tange seiki falcon highly enough - lightweight, cartridge bearings.. I’ve got one on my 1990 pine mountain, they come in silver or black.. I think I paid around £26…

ritchey logic threaded 1 1/8 headsets can be picked up new for around £15

(Not so many in the UK try chainreaction or wiggle, easier to find in Germany bikediscount etc)
