1 1/4" Stuff

Never had a 1 and 1/4 bike before and just won one on ebay. Whats the availability of headsets and stems like? Any nice trad headsets out there? The sale included a atac stem and its got a headset fitted but always nice to upgrade a bit

There's a decent ammunt of kit if you're not too fussy... but if you're after say some accutrax be prepared for a wait. (Though you can reduce to 1 1/8" & 1" to broaden your options).

Forks will be your biggest problem. What was it ? Yeti, Fisher?

Stuff turns up....slowly....I waited three months to get a 3DV King for my Cannondale, worth the wait though

Depends what bike you've got really and what parts you're after...

It was a C'dale M800 with pepperoni's so would want to keep the forks but would maybe want to change the stem or headset for a bit of colour. Will wait to see what I've got when I get it. Quite chuffed, always liked the beast and I'm pretty sure I'm going to build it up as a singlespeed. Pics to follow when I get it.

I've got a few bits and pieces I'll be disposing of sooner or later - XT and XTR headsets and a Syncros quill stem. They're buried in boxes somewhere at the moment, but drop me a PM if that's ever of interest and I can expedite their exhumation...

I've XT M734 or M735 (I think) 1 1/4" threaded head set somewhere. It's NOS and NIB (Not In the Box ) It's in plastic bag. If I recall correctly package is unopened and has instruction sheet with it.
