My baby. My darling. My one true love. Please forgive me.
This is my darling, '09 Santa Cruz Blur LT. I saved so hard for this bike and have ridden it for nigh on four years now. Sadly, times are of change and I'm looking for something a little less hardcore and with wagon wheels.
I've cared for this bike dearly, but it has lived its life to the fullest. It's got cosmetic marks a plenty, a little bit of bubbling to the paint on the seat tube, considerable chain suck and a little bit of chipping around the headtube. But given a new lick of paint should you wish, and it would look superb in this regard. No digs or bumps barring the odd little one from a stone on the down tube. The bike has been helitaped here, so it's not all that bad!
The pivots are in pretty great condition. The shock bushings could really do with being replaced, but this costs no more than a tenner or so. One of the things I liked so much about this bike was the stainless hardware. No rounded heads here! The BB threads are in great condition. None of this press-fit nonsense, just 73mm of threaded goodness.
The RP23 has a few little marks on the "stanchion". These have been here since I got the bike and really haven't affected it at all. No oil filming or loss of pressure. I'm sure the shock could benefit from a service, but it's seen pretty light riding since it was last done around a year and a half ago.
The frame is sized 17.5" inch, 1 1/8" straight steerer, IS brake mount, 26" wheels and 135mm QR drop outs.
I also have a set of Rockshox Revelation Air Team forks for sale which were a super match for this bike. I'd be delighted to do a deal combining these two.
The forks are in great condition, 150mm travel, 1 1/8" steerer, 20mm Maxle, post mount. All around great forks and superbly stiff. They've got some marks to the decals and some feather like marks on the NDS stanchion, but really nothing to worry about.
Asking £360 for the frame and £140 for the forks. Buyer pays paypal fees.
