‘89 Orange Clockwork resto begins

Wow, I thought my Genesis CdF was bright orange but I certainly wouldn't fancy working on that with a hangover!

Tell you what mate that looks a total diffrent orange outside it looks thick and like glow in the dark ish in second pic if that makes sense black really suit this what color was the orange paint top job

Slack handful of paracetamol and a Maccies later and decided to tackle at least the front.

Little bit more done on this today. Steerer tube swapped for longer one allowing me to use a cable hanger, also managed to get the gears and brakes setup.
Hopefully get the bb and crankset installed tomorrow.

Sorry man I’ve had a hectic couple of weeks so must have missed it. The wheels they are replacing which were originally on this bike I built this way 30+ years ago on my school work experience of all places. Although not used for some years up until recently they have still done 1000’s of road and trail miles without any issues. They’re actually back in use on another one of my bikes currently.

And the fork is a first gen Pace RC30 with the Renthal legs.
