£100! Identiti Dr jekyll, hope brakes, bulb, XTR mech etc

Re:

Hi,
Not sure if it has been sold or not but I am still up for the front and rear brakes if not or if the new owner doesn't need them and wants to get some cash back.

Cheers, James.

Re:

For clarity I got the bike.

I am afraid I needed some parts on it and it, had the money ready and waiting and was able to do a pickup as I travel the M11 twice daily London to Cambridge. My offer was made publicly on the first page and accepted, I guess on the grounds it was quicker and simpler than the consortium arrangement in the planning.

For the record I paid asking price. The wheels and dérailleur & stem are now resident on my girlfriends bike and I am afraid, following a hose shortening exercise the brakes will head that way . I was planning on using the forks too but she opted for rigids instead.

Sorry if it has left some hurt but the firm offer was made in the open and ultimately accepted before the alternative was fully worked out and confirmed.

Hi,
Reading through your feedback leads me to think you don't do this sort of thing and I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. No hard feelings at this end. Some you win, some you lose.

Possibly a lesson here for new sellers / buyers reading this that it's essential for clarity to try and keep things out in the open as much as possible and the importance of waiting in line until the person in front of you in the queue is definitely not going to buy the item.

This ethos was what drew me to this great site in the first place.

Cheers, James
