shifter

Hello I have some old Sachs down tube gear shifters. They seem to take a barrel nipple gear cable. Does anyone know where you can buy these from that isn't ebay or amazon, or not a box of 100? I have looked high and low and can't find anyone supplying them. I can find plenty of brakes cables...
