Selling my Scott Genius MC20. Size medium. Carbon frame, Fox32 Talas RL fork. Whole bike is original equipment.
Fork regularly serviced but I think it needs a new Talas cartridge. However, works as is.

Evening All
I have a nice frame for sale. Was bought about 10 years ago to build a bike for the missus. Pretty sure it was a Rock Lobster Team Tig SL frame (dark blue metallic paint with yellow and black decals, I'll look for a pic online and post if I can find one).

All this polishing looks fantastic but aluminium oxidises very quickly (white powdery substance), even more quickly when exposed outdoors. How long are these parts looking good for? Surely you should be considering clear anodisation to preserve that nice finish?
I find that when I get home after lubing the chain with 3 in 1 or WD40 the chain has attracted a nice thick layer of black sticky gunk, kind of like crude oil.
Basicaly does the job but attracts lots of crud which makes the chain more difficult to maintain and more likely to wear other parts...
Freehub body?
May be that more torque is required to turn the wheel when using smaller sprockets and this extra torque is causing the ratchet mechanism to slip?
I have had this happen in the past. New freehub body solved the problem.
Bought some Rock n Roll Extreme, used it quite a lot, not particularly impressed with it. Doesn't live up to the Black Gold, nowhere near as good. Guess you can't compare to Black Gold unless you've tried it.
Does anybody know if I can get my hands on some Black Gold chain lube?
If not, is there anything as good available nowadays?
I used to swear by this stuff and don't really know what is comparable now.
Anybody had any problems when the saddle gets wet? New saddles tend to let the water run off, a quick wipe and you're off.
Does anyone know of a leather treatment that could be used?
I'll be attempting this soon, just looking for a bit of leather.
