    Kooka Chainrings – any good?

Thanks yo-eddy; am sorry to hear they didn't fit, very frustrating. :( I'm edging back towards getting new Middleburn chainrings. Is the Kooka company that made these newer chainrings connected in any way to the earlier original company from BITD? :? :)

    Kooka Chainrings – any good?

I’ve been looking to replace my now quite worn Biopace steel chainrings for a little while  (am using 110/74bcd LX M560 crank arms with 48-38-28 rings and HG50 7 speed cassette). I’m very tempted by new standard Middleburn rings but saw these Kooka ones (which are seemingly quite a...

It's a '93 Raleigh Apex in, I think but can't be sure, a size 17". Looks like its got most of the original exage gruppo. Would have come with the flexstem and rigid forks. :)

NOS Shimano type 'B'/82mm canti brake link wire

Thanks RobMac for checking and Charlieboy for the link; it's much appreciated. :D I think that types 'E' or 'F' wouldn't be quite right for what I'm after and so will hold out and try and find some type 'B'.

NOS Shimano type 'B'/82mm canti brake link wire

That sounds more like a straddle cable I think. Sorry; I should have posted pictures before - I'm after one like either of the two below, preferably Shimano. I've been able to find types 'A'/73mm 'C'/106mm and 'D'/93mm easily enough on the web but unfortunately not a NOS type 'B'/82mm. :roll...

10 tooth jockey wheels and a breakaway bolt - Gold

Not sure if you're still looking but I bought a pair of 10T Shimano LX M560 / 105 jockey wheels from Condor Cycles in London earlier this year. I think they were £8 the pair. They seemed to carry them as a standard item. Maybe worth a try: Condor Cycles As for a gold breakaway bolt if you...

    Dallas95 Feed Back

Bought some LX M560 cranks earlier this year from dallas95 that are fantastic and have now done several hundred trouble-free miles on my bike. A pleasure to do business with; excellent comms, the cranks were very well packaged and in excellent condition. Thanks :D

NOS Shimano type 'B'/82mm canti brake link wire

Specifically the ones with the integral coiled brake cable housing. I'm after one or a pair of type 'B'/82mm if anyone has some they're willing to sell? As always, any help is greatly appreciated. :) Cheers

    7 speed shifter pod

Still searching – are there any r/h 7 speed rapidfire plus shifter pods out there that some one's willing to part with; ideally M560 (LX), M075 (DX) or M095 (XT)? :) Failing that are there any pairs of LX 7 speed ST-M560 or ST-M563 sti units that anyone’s willing to sell? Having the bike...

    7 speed shifter pod

Hi juice, Thanks for the quick response. :) The ST-M565 unit looks good but unfortunately I'm after a 7 speed unit to suit my bike's set-up such as a ST-M560 or ST-M563. Cheers

    7 speed shifter pod

So, on my way to work this morning my right hand 7 speed LX M560 sti unit’s shifter pod decided to literally fall apart :? – the bolt that holds the mechanism together has sheared off at the base / thread end. Managed to gather all the bits off the road but the bolt would definitely need...
