Grubbs are great frames for Holdsworth "budget" models! Mine is a Veloce (path) from 1967, also in original paint finish and it rides brilliantly. Comfortable but responds when you put pressure on the pedals. Probably one of the frames I'll keep when I have to reduce my collection (eeeek).

Re: Looks great: bet the ride is positive but comfortable. I've a mystery 50's frame that's been shod with similar gear and the fork rake is similar but there's even more taper. When you hit a dip in the tamac it flexes so much it feels like it's breaking. Happy Riding

Hello Wanting to use a french threaded Normandy large flange hub in a Freddie Grubb track/path frame (1967 so Holdsworth not true Grubb) I've bought. Needs to be good to excellent condition. Ideally 20 or 21 but will consider anything and change chainring to suit. Thanks Dave
