Bought a Look Fournales carbon fork off ebay - wrong v brake mounts were supplied. They came with a smaller diameter mount for probably a Pace RC31. Can I clamp them straight onto the carbon legs? I have seen it done but I am a bit not sure. Thanks!

1x10 sounds like an option. Thanks for your suggestion Lhatch4. I found a Shimano Dynasys FD which is 2X10 speed. This satisfies the front 2X I need. Will it blend well into the current Mega9 system? The chain, RD, cogs are all Mega9.

Has anyone tried using a bottom swing on a smaller chainring like 32T before? My current setup is 44T with a dying top swing STX FD. With my limited knowledge, what will be a Shimano FD at 2 speed top swing that I can look out for? I currently have a spare XT M786 2x 9 groupset but it seems...

Thanks guys. Definately a few good solutions here. Another advice I want to ask is do you need to deflate the tyres each time you want to remove the wheel with the old HS11s? It will rule me out installing them as I transport the bike with front wheels off.
