No sorry, mate. My interests have again shifted ;-)

Lovely! Is it OK if I like the Trek more than the Klein? ;-)

What a beauty! I just started looking for one myself as I really like them. How is the bonding on these Treks? I have a somewhat similar Koga Tirunner (bonded titanium tubes on alu joints), but there one of the tubes came loose. Which is too bad as it was used similarly as your Trek. But keep...

    Trek 8300/8500/8700 bike or frameset

Thanks for the offer but I am really looking for the frame with bonded lugs. These highend carbon frame are just to modern for me. ;-)

    Trek 8300/8500/8700 bike or frameset

I find myself fancying a new project and have fallen for the looks of the Trek Composite 8000 series. Only looking for a bike or frameset with rigid fork. Don't want to break the bank (or my marriage ;-) ) so the cheaper the better. :-) I am 1.75m, so a 16 or 18" will probably be OK. Has to be...

    Marin Monocoque

What price do you have in mind? I think for fork, wheels and the frame plus shipping 300,- is pretty reasonable

    Marin Monocoque

I'll have to check what a big box to Portugal will cost. Mainland or Madeira? O wait, that doesnt matter. I think I can do it for 300 euros including shipping. Just need to doublecheck if the size of the box is OK for shipping. You want some more pictures in the meantime? You can also check my...

    Marin Monocoque

Ok, no problem. Just beware that the steerer of the fork is a bit short and with this low stack headset it fits just right. (or you need a lower stack stem)

    Marin Monocoque

I think that will also work, but you also want the headset then i guess? Price would be 300,- plus shipping.

Apparently I was not the first interested?

I might be interested in the frame, any price on that?

    Marin Monocoque

Putting up for sale my very much customized Marin Monocoque. Got the frame in a bad state so decided to "improve" it a bit by removing all clutter and giving it 1x9 gears and internal cables. I really like the look and ride but I just don't have the time to ride (And I might prefer something...

    '96 Marin Monocoque (purists beware! ;-) )

Although it is indeed way cool, I just don't ride it as much as I want to. Got a Krampus and a long travel hardtail that win on the spare moments I got.... So I am going to put it up for sale.

Bringing a Pre-War frame into the 20th century.

Re: Love what you are doing! Even so much that I am going to try to build my own frame this year (or at least get the hang of fillet brazing ;-) )

    '96 Marin Monocoque (purists beware! ;-) )

I had a 30t Hope narrow wide on it before (which worked like a charm) but that had to go to my new Krampus. So for now I fitted something I had lying around. And nice to see you guys think it's cool! On of my buddies (riding a Cannondale Trigger...) thought the Monocoque was a Halfords bike...

Was thinking about a Paul, but indeed it will probably be a Superstar, thanks for the suggestion!

    '96 Marin Monocoque (purists beware! ;-) )

Thats too retro for me ;-) Checked the weight: in it's current 1x9 state it's 11,5kg, pretty OK for such a bulky frame. And of course some updated images: Now I just have to find a proper chainguide instead of this old XTR front derailleur. Tried it without a guide but...

I'll have to check, right now the Monocoque is in pieces as I needed some parts for my recently purchased Surly Krampus. But the replacement parts are in the house, so now I just need to find time to put it all back together.
