Thanks but need to hold out for the shorter stem, they did the hinge it the shorter length.

After a Syncros hinged stem 11/8th and 70-90mm. Shorter the better. Gloss or matt black not fussed. Thanks for any help! Dan

For a man that likes colour co-ordination, I actually like the green grip! Controltech stem removed to be painted and a Tioga stem (logos different) temporarily in place so I could get the grips on. Great service from Gringineer with the Controltech bars, Black spire chain ring and Tioga QR...

I do remember it needing to be wriggled off the clamp but nothing silly in terms of effort. There is in direct light the slightest line on the shim, but again nothing out or the ordinary. It’s an odd outcome. Glad we resolved it though 🙌🏻

I will take that money then as your incorrect. It was a Titec bar with the shim installed. Shims undamaged (I just checked) and the bar has since been installed on another bike and working perfectly. Dom here are more pictures that will hopefully inspires confidence in what I said. First two...
