Hi Cindercone,
Cable guide sleeve made:
What's the postal address for this?
No cost, just stick a fiver or such in a donation box somewhere.
All the best,
Here you go @dead end
I'll PM you for an address.
If you can't find the right spoke out on the open market, Spinergy do still make compatible spokes.
These days they are black anodised at the ends, and use a hexagonal spoke key. All the diameters and threads are the same as the old wheels...
I just with the bike marketing dept would use (or at least list/mention) some decent comparable measurement for the naming to help to end all the sizing confusion that surrounds wheels and tyres...ie the ISO/ETRTO system.
The car tyre/wheel industry doesn't ever refer to the OD of the wheels...
ISO/ETRTO Numbers for those MTB sizes:
24" = **-507
26" = **-559
650b/27.5 = **-584
700c/29er = **-622
**-*** = Internal rim width or tyre width - bead seat diameter, all in millimetres.
All the best,
Hi,
Yes, I have some spare spoke keys...or you can just borrow some if you need.
I'd need some pics of both ends of your spokes to make sure that I have the right ones...there have been several different nipple versions and colours over the years, both splined and hexagonal.
I don't know the...
Sorry for not picking up all those name Tags... :)Must switch on Notifications:)
If it's just 10-20mm needed, then those clamp in wedge devices are fine. Any more than that and you should look for a different solution.
If it's aluminium get a new one pressed in, or find a friend to swap with...
Hi Jim,
Yes, still looking.
It would be great if you have a pair.
I need at least one for a 1988 Highpath project, so a spare would be a good idea, too.
All the best.
Yes, on production numbers, Adrian suggested just over 3000 units. The serial numbering looks more like 2400 or so.
The F2 does have the best survival ratio...but I don't think it's indicative of much, since it's not a comprehensive list of production numbers or survivors, just what has been...
