Proflex ODS spares or Noleen shock needed

I bought the 955 frame-only with elastomers, within six months the frames were available with other options that worried me so I stayed with elastomers. In fact I used to ride with a pal who bought the 855, that had a spring and a damping unit. The damping unit didn't work very well so he rode...

Proflex ODS spares or Noleen shock needed

Are elastomers available ? I'm still riding my 955 with X-link forks and elastomers front and back. I'm happy with elastomers because I use the 955 as a road bike with occasional green lanes. Where I live you don't need to get off-road for some peace and away from traffic.

Hi Terry, Hell, are they all your Proflex ? I mailed the guys in Scotland about some elastomers but they haven't replied. I'll try slim. I haven't been around the forum much, been busy with 'bikey' things, at least I'll have something to talk about. Are you suggesting there is a...

Many-many thanks for the advise on new shocks, I'm going in for preventive medicine, as regards, "is it fast". It was fast, in fact guys 25 years younger thought it was gifted though it had fat treads on then. The 955 has been my road bike for many years, I rode Kona for almost 10 years...

Thanks Jez, I'm an honourable man. Longbeach has first option. How many bike do you have ? I only ever had three, when I went to kiteboarding I became known for being a board collector. 7 boards right now, 9 was my record.

Sorry I'm just going to do penance, 30 minutes with a birch-broom out in the rain and rub sheep-shxt into the wounds for posting inappropriately.

Here is the stuff anyway, I'll risk a keel-hauling for posting it inappropriately particularly as I'm a 'Newbie'. I hate that title, can I be a virgin ? Novice ? Probationary ? Et-Al, anything but 'Newbie'. The extra hub is an XTR that is useable but starting to make a noise...

Brilliant, just answered my next question, anyways, here is my pride and joy, I love this bike, it never goes off-road these days but where I live I can ride the road for two hours and only meet the odd tractor, it's heaven. I have photos of the stuff that came off the...

Oh-sorry, I missed the hello's I'm in such a rush, the weather is too filthy for riding through cow-shxit so I just did an hour with my dog and walking poles A-La Landlaufen. Helloooo-------- how do you guys like the colour of the 'Goat' ? did I mention it's a girls bike ? Oh, and yes...

Ok, let me look through and double check the bit's, I just took the BB out, that is also an XT UN72 I think. I also have wheels, XT hubs front and back, no damage to the cones, new balls and grease Campag rims with tree-trunk spokes (2mm) and comes with a 7 speed cassette. The shifters are...

Here is the 'Goat', can you see the collar I pressed onto the head-tube, sort of like hip replacement for a bike. Sorry, I thought I had tilted this one, bugger. Anyway, whilst I appreciate your comments, 'she' always complain that my bikes are always so responsive and...

The KK was a King Kikapu with Fox-air front and back, I was never to use it again off-road because of my poor hips and I have the Proflex for keeping me sane. "I binned the XT" Well yes  I better get the stuff out in case someone wants it, yes ? I just needed to start from scratch...

Hello, didn't think I would join another forum, this is my third for three separate interests. I own a Proflex 955, still has elastomers and I may need help with those in due course. The Proflex has Middleburn XC cranks and BB, hope hubs, mavics laced with DT revolution and mostly everything...
