    Any help identifying this bike?

    A bit of a closer look and the chainset appears to be branded 'Thun' on on the rear of the crank arm. Still haven't found anything to identify the frame. Edit- Having looked at various pictures I'm wondering if its an early 80's Raleigh Road Ace?

    Thanks Johnny, I keep changing my mind on what to do with it. I think a good clean, service, new cables, handlebar tape and a new (old) saddle would be a start. Need to see if the tyres hold any air too :roll: After that, can't decide if it should be all Campag (the headset is very nice)...

    I have just purchased a retro racing bike. It seems to be in pretty good condition and looks like a good first time project. My knowledge of bikes is not at all vast and all self taught. I am very happy with my purchase as it cost me peanuts, but would be interested to find out a bit more...
