68mm width and will have a Shimano Acera Crankset. So the crankset should say what length of BB to use with it right?

Ok this is probably a silly question, but I need a BB with a square taper for a new frame. How do you know what length to go for?? 118 122 etc..

Suntour make a 1" sus fork, nrx7000 about £50. Recently fitted 1 to a 96 raleigh genesis, 63mm travel so not to mess up your geometry and works a treat around my local slate quarry's..
