    1990 breezer sky

Good work. A bit of pedantry, I think your Sky is a 1992 model. It was only sold in 2 countries (as Breezer's "Entry Level" bike), Canada and here in the UK. Here it was £600 retail. Here's a picture of mine, recently "repurposed" as a gravel-y bike and commuter

Wanted Older, 26" wheel, steel frame for the taller gent.....

Strange as it may sound, it maybe worth looking on Rugby player groups? In the early 90's I was working in John's Bikes in Bath and sold a bunch of "very big" Trek Singletrack steel framed mountain bikes (I can't remember the listed frame size, but it was the biggest Trek did and WAY too big...

so i started a bike shop. update 24/04/24

Thanks for looking Jonny, I already have a 34t suitable for a non-boost bike (which is what I'll use it for - NX crank going onto my Planet-X Jack Flash pump track singlespeed). Sorry to have wasted your time on a futile hunt. The next time I'm down your way, I'll be sure to pop into your shop...

    Toddler seats

It is pretty heavy, so the post would probably be quite expensive.

I don't suppose you have any SRAM direct mount chainrings (to fit NX or GX cranks) in 36 tooth, do you? PS I heartily approve of what you are doing for your customer with that Team Raleigh.

If you are in SE London/Kent I have a Trailgator one of those tagalong things that you can have for Karma.

Sorted 32 hole White Industries front hub. (or any exotic 32h silver)

I have this WTB front hub. Buttery smooth, Rohloff-style easy maintenance (grease guard) but maybe not “exotic” enough?

    Chainreaction/Wiggle closing down (?) sale

Big discounts at what Wiggle and Chainreaction are calling their "Final Sale" - I guess this reinforces the rumours of closure https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/m/epicdropswk1824c?index=n&inStock=true

odd promotional items, what you got?

I have an Ibis "handjob" bottle opener somewhere in the spares boxes, a Hope "front hub" keyfob, a few American pint glasses (Salsa, Fat Tire beer, etc.), a Breezer T-Shirt, and a few other bits and bobs.

I should be able to have another look for the missing one later today.

I have a hypothesis that a 3litre XM would provide about 90% of the SM experience at approximately 5% of the price and 50% of the heartache.

Wanted 7 speed shifters and canti brake levers

I could only find one of the rubber hoods (fitted to the rh lever in the picture), but otherwise they are better than I remembered. Perhaps I have another pair secreted “somewhere safe”

Wanted 7 speed shifters and canti brake levers

I have a pair of '92 XT Brifters - two finger cantilever brake levers and RF+ 3x7 shifters. They are rather "used" but worked well when I took them off the bike I got them on - the paint has worn from the front of the brake levers, but that's about it. The rubber cable covers are still there and...

Sorted First Generation steel Pace RC30, early RC35s, or even a decent Pace crown

Might these be of any interest? They are kicking about in my garage with little realistic prospect of getting used on any project.

    Anyone into classic cars

Mr Cheese, I occasionally lust after an SM in my less financially responsible moments. Lovely things. But then every time (so far) I remember that my DS is almost as fast and a whole heap less likely to swallow the entire contents of my overdraft facility for an engine rebuild.

My 1973 Citroën DS23ie Pallas with factory (working) air conditioning system. In AC085 Beige Tholonet with brown (natur) leather interior. It also has a modern CANEMS fuel injection and engine management system (instead of the unreliable Bosch D-Jetronic system) and produces about 150bhp with a...

Fat Tire Flyer is back in print

I wonder what my copy, signed by Charlie and Joe on the day I met them and accompanied them to their "gig" at Look Mum No Hands in London might be worth? No it's not for sale.

    Trackers

As a kid in rural North Yorkshire in the 70s and early 80s, I remember a "tracker bike" scene. We used to scour scrap yards/farm yards/known "fly tipping" laybys on local roads for frames and components. The classic Hutton Rudby tracker (or scrapper) bike was a racer frame with cow horn bars...
