Phoneholder brand new for postage +karma

Phone holder. Supposedly water proof. The size was not stated accurately and it is too small for my phone. Fits a galaxy core (my wifes but she has no use for it). Looks identical to this one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Waterproof-R ... 0033.m2042

Marin 1991 Palisades Trail help (BB size, paint, seatpost)

Re: I think it is all original exept for the seatpost. The saddle is a marin and looks early-mid 90s so i doubt it was changed. I got the pedals somewhere. I think they are original too but a bit grindy and I don't think they 'd justify the efort to service the bearings.

    Botom braket removal Advice please.

I had a wee go at it but it's not budging. Before I crank up the force I wanted to ask: Do I remove this like a normal cartridge Botom bracket. It looks like one to me but then I spotted the threads and wee nut on the axle so started to wonder if i have to remove that first? I'll give it a scrub...

The retro road ride for the Lady in your life? Came a cross this while looking for mixte scrap for my first planned DIY recumbent project. It looks in such good nick I could not bring myself to sacrifice it. If it was any other weekend/half the distance and i'd get it for when granny visits...

    Replacement chainrings as a set?

Is there anywhere were I can buy SET of decent replacement chainrings (48 38 28, or 48 36 26 ). I't appears that to be a lot cheaper to buy a whole triple crank set, I don't want or need?

Re: Re: Much much nicer condition than mine. And smaller. I really like the geometry on mine but it weighs 16Kg… and in 1990 they just somehow forgot to braze ons for mounting a pannier on the seat stays. Very hard to get an adapter for a mono stay in the UK these days…. I'm just about to...

25 of April 2015 Pedal on Parliament 4

Re: I like the Idea of a MacRetro team ride! However as i'm kind of trying to galvanize support from the borders and trying to get borderers to turn up on the day. So depending on how successful I'm going to be with that, i'm not sure it will be appropriate for me to "abandon" any borders...

25 of April 2015 Pedal on Parliament 4

MacRetro seems to have a very strong off road emphasis but i'm sure you would all agree it would be nice to be able to actually cycle to the local trails with children… I thought that this would be better here than in Edinburgh but I find that in Edinburgh i had a better chance to find a quiet...
