    Paganini Columbus SL Campagnolo build

Indeed, I'll add to that it is absolutely stunning. The tan sidewall works so well with the blue in the paint, very pretty.

    1989 Specialized Allez Epic

Wow, from the first year they made those. Very nice and close to catalogue spec too (just missing white handlebar tape and white hoods)

    Vitus 992 - 11 speed groupset

Very pretty rebuild! Good inspiration for my own 992 frame. Be ready to lose all of the lettering on that Turbo once it get ridden regularly. The reissues aren't that high quality in that area. I'm not sold on the Handlebar tape visually, too much going on with the stitching.

    Specialized Allez Epic Carbon Fiber

Re: NEW PROJECT! : Specialized Allez Epic Carbon Fiber You are right, it doesn't exclude the option they were made by the same manufacturer but to a different design (which is 95% of the current bicycle industry).

Wookiee's 1991 Specialized Allez Epic Carbon

Better bring some good tire levers along on your rides should you puncture :) Those Rubino Pros are OK tires but they don't come with a gumwall. Vittoria corsa evo sc do and ride like a dream but aren't that durable (high performance tires). I doubt yellow tires would compliment this bike.

    Specialized Allez Epic Carbon Fiber

Re: NEW PROJECT! : Specialized Allez Epic Carbon Fiber Not too sure about that suggestion. Giant Cadex looks similar but the lugs on the Specialized are of a different design.

Wookiee's 1991 Specialized Allez Epic Carbon

Very nice! Gumwalls will definitely balance the look. Stem isn't beyond its minimum insertion point I take it? I'm running an Epic Allez too but since it had a seized stem it took off in another direction build wise (not period correct)

The no name Chinese carbon road bike (modern content)

That is a very nice frame, I own the non ISP version. This particular frame is being sold by CIOCC/Somec/De Rosa amongst others. Mine's completely white, no logos. Having to apply a paintjob to make it look like some brand... that's, well, pathetic really. Who are you trying to fool or what...

    Raleigh Banana lo-pro re-pro

Ok, have you experimented using different saddles? Selle SMP comes to mind, but there are more. Sometimes saddle angles like this are also caused by having the seat set up too high (doubt that's the case btw). I love the project and the fame respray came out really nice! :) (I'd personally...

    First Project - Daccordi Mitico

Very classy build so far! Those new Campagnolo alloy groups sure look great on oldish frames.

This is a bike to sell your family for ... and some :-)

It's a similar idea indeed but not from the same period. It is interesting to see that the no seat tube concept is still current :) I'm not an expert on these early carbon monocoques but the Bianch/C4 TT comes very close in looks

This is a bike to sell your family for ... and some :-)

Don't worry you're not the only one! This is one beautiful piece of art and at the forefront of modern monocoque designs (and designed without any repressive UCI rules). It's fascinating to see how these design engineers used the new possibilities monoque design gave them, exploring more...

vanhulsteijn - not strictly retro but....

Van Hulsteijn make their bikes in their own workshop. Website doesn's say anything about what tubing is used. Very elegant looking bikes I think and certainly nonconforming. Seen their bikes around Eindhoven two years ago (prototypes I guess), good to see they're still going :)
