I`ve been given a another Kona from the early 90`s that`s been repainted...Is there anyway to read a Kona serial number and know exactly which model and year it is? Doesn`t have the hallmarks of a Kilauea or Explosif, and I`m just curious what it might be...Thanks

Hi guys, On the early Stumpjumpers, were the grips a Specialized product? Or made by someone else? I`m talking about the foam ones with the red end plugs. Did they ever come equipped with other grips, or just those? Should the pedals always be MKS BMX-7? Or were some other models also used...
